Today started like any other Wednesday. I jumped on my spinning bike for spinning class and burned those calories. After my class and an extra half hour of abs with the girls I headed home with Pete and Dad. Pete had a rare day off and asked if I wanted to go pick up my truck and then go to lunch. Adult time with my husband…you bet. My parents watched the kids while we went out. We picked up the truck $728.00 and headed over to Michael’s where I picked up Valentine’s stuff for the kids (yes they are begging me to make their cards this year), then to the car wash, and finally to lunch at Panera. It was nice to sit down and just talk without the kids interrupting us. It was funny when Pete said "I miss the kids, don’t you?"…..Nope, not for a second. I welcome that little time off. We then walked over to Barnes & Noble where I used my gift card for some coffee and desserts for us. We skimmed over books before we headed home, back to the mayhem that we love so much. Tonight I must force myself to bed by 11 pm so I can wake up at 4 am to head to Hollywood. And of course it is 10:30 and I am wide awake. This is prime-time for me! I am hoping we enjoy this because waking up at 4 am just plain stinks!
