Woo Hoo……….HAPPY MOM Dance! It is here and we all went to bed Sunday night anxious and excited. I have TWO second graders and a 7th grader (junior high!). Tyler started a new school and I swear I was way more nervous than him. I gave him about 103 reminders until he just turned around and said "Mom, I got it"……So I just had to let him go. But I did threaten him with his life that if I did not get first day of school photos I would come out with my camera and run after the carpool car. That did the trick so he posed for me.
I am so proud of them. So with them all off to school I had to take a minute and miss them (ok, more like a few seconds) and I dashed home for some much needed alone time. I banked on all this time and the next minute I looked up at the time and it was 1:30 pm. It was time to hit the carpool circuit. Mondays I am carpooling kids from 1:45 to 7:00 pm between school and sports. But you don't hear me complaining (ok, unless of course you call me).
So I am back to working and some creativity!
PS….I must send out a PSA to Grandma who schlepped these kids out school shopping for these great clothes. If there is one thing I hate it is shopping, ESPECIALLY school shopping with three kids. So I put this in the hands of a pure professional and thanks to her the kidlets looks so great. Thanks Mom!
