Just maybe going to the Fair is in my genes. My family gets a little excited about it as seen from our Michigan vacation back in 2008
Ok, maybe that silliness should be put in the archives! Great memories.
This week we head to the San Diego County Fair. I have been taking the kids for years and now that they are older there are rides we can enjoy, great fried food (oh yum) and lots to see. This year they have a Small Image Contest with a Collage or Mixed Media catagory so I decided to create a piece for it. The struggle was it cannot be any larger than 7" X 7"
So I took it online LIVE after the ideas started flowing yesterday morning! Thank you girls for the inspiration and motivation! Here is what I created for my entry:

Here is Artist Math for you…I spent $20 in supplies on my entry which saves me $13 on the fair admission LOL. So worth the money to create something! And, there is $50 for first place…you never know!
This is the official start to summer with friends and eating our weights in fried yummy food! We are going to the Fair!
