Sunday my oldest turned 15! Happy Birthday Tyler! We rang in his special day with the family for dinner. Thank you Mom, Dad, Uncle Larry and Aunt Aud for dinner. Love all the laughs…
Monday I got the rare time to have some one-on-one time with Ty while the twins were canoeing with friends. We took advantage and took a drive into Brighton. We found a nice big parking lot for Ty to practice driving. It was fun to do this with him. Then we drove around seeing my high school which has grown a ton!
I was happy to take him to dinner where we found a Japanese steakhouse. We had no idea it was going to be Benihana-style which made it even more fun.
I appreciate those moments I can get to engage with my teenager. Ever since those teenage aliens have possessed him those stolen moments mean a lot to this mom…a great way to celebrate and eat great food.
A special note of thanks to E and Lee for having the twins over. I loved seeing how much fun they were having too! Such special times for us all.
