I was back Monday for Mixed Media Monday and boy did it feel great.  Just like in baseball when you hit the ball in that sweet spot you just know.  Tonight was one of those nights for me.  Taking that much needed time off to regroup and refresh only heightend my creative spirit.  I am thankful to all who said they missed Monday's and all who joined us.  Lots of fun!

Here is the double spread in my 9 X 12 journal that I painted:

August truly was a month for Letting it Go and enjoying the process of my art.  I was so happy when we were concluding the show and I opened up my Studio shades to this beautiful painting:

"Pause for a moment.  Breathe in slowly and deeply.  Exhale.  Feel the miracle of your breath.  And say, “Thank you.”  Be as grateful as possible, for small things, not just for big things – for the simple act of breathing, the time together, the conversations, etc. Every moment counts.  Every second matters.  Whatever is given is a gift.  Right now life isn’t perfect, but it sure is good.  Acknowledging this is is the foundation for all the happiness and abundance you seek."
