Dsc_2781_1Today I woke up early to get Tyler to baseball practice by 8:00 am.  Little did I know that an hour later we would be in an ER!  All it took was one line drive to the head and we were headed to the hospital.  UGH!  I ran on that field so fast and found him laying on the ground with blood coming out of his nose.  It was way scary for both of us!  I was comforted to know that at age nine he still "wants his Mommy".  I was able to calm him down and we took him off the field.  Then it was off to the emergency room where he had a CAT scan.  He has a broken nose but his spirit was not broken.  Him and I managed to sit in the room and play with buttons and latex gloves which made us both laugh.  His ride in the wheelchair was a highlight for him too.  He is home and resting and Grandma of course spoiled him with popsicles and all the ice cream he needs.  We are thankful that he did not damage any other part of his face.  I bet it will be more black & blue tomorrow.  Never a dull moment in this house.
