Friday night I went to see Kid Rock with my friend Jacqueline!  A piece of Detroit came to California and I was not going to miss it.  In fact, Uncle Kracker and Kid Rock!  It was great……so mad I did not wear a Detroit Shirt! but met lots of my homies!  This guy went to my rival high school (ok, a few years before me)

We were there early since we had to road trip it to Irvine and got front row parking and avoided paying for preferred parking (oops!).

We got to know our tailgating neighbors who were cool

Free parking, $4 beers, $20 skirts and Yes, Kid Rock did actually upgrade people lawn seats to front row!  Susan and Beth Opel (also Michigan girls were up-graded!) and they got these awesome shots! Lawn was just too far away for a great pic however the sound was great and that was what mattered.

A great piece of Michigan for me that made me a little homesick so planning a trip back home ASAP!  Much needed and way fun.  Thanks Jacqueline for going and thanks Kid Rock for THE BEST NIGHT EVER TOUR!   Truly Michigan proud!

"No matter how good or bad you think you have it, wake up each day thankful for your life.  Someone somewhere else is desperately fighting for theirs.  Instead of thinking about what you’re missing, think about what you have that everyone else is missing.  Think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive in your own shoes – to breathe a fresh breath, to think another thought, to enjoy a new moment, to have options – then go out and take action"
