Friday night I got the call I have been expecting for awhile but dreaded…my grandma peacefully passed away. Surrounded by family who loved her dearly and leaving behind a wonderful 98-year legacy. So as I sit on the flight on a very early Saturday morning I am reminded what is important….your family, friends and your passion for life.

I am sad and I openly share that but I know she is in a much better place. This week I am blessed to be surrounded by all my family for which I am grateful. I truly come from an amazing family (thanks Gram)! I know this next few days will have some tears but lots of laughs. That was how we were raised.

Saturday night my Mom, Dad, Brother, Timmy and I took time to be together. I cannot remember the last time just the four of us were together.  We laughed at
dinner like I cannot remember ever
laughing.  We ourselves are blessed to have awesome families so this times was appreciated. I am so glad to have this time in Michigan with my family. Rest in Sweet Peace Grandma. This is the legacy you leave.

Your Granddaughter "Hanini"
(A Maltese term of endearment used to describe someone cute). Always loved that you called us Grandkids that….

Tracy…from my iPhone in Michigan.
