I have no idea where Summer is going!  The days are filled, the walks are needed and I am just not ready to talk Fall or Back-to-School!  Looking back July was filled with a lot including the loss of a friend which reminded me to embrace life and those around me even more:

I am reminded daily to cherish the time with family and friends…forget the small stuff and know we have one life.  July gave me the gift of:

  • date nights and a getaway
  • cool beverages poolside
  • 4th fun!
  • girlfriends
  • art, art and more art
  • walking – over 60 miles!
  • the kids including sending one to college!
  • sand between my toes
  • new experiences like Comic Con and paddle boarding
  • Southern travel to Georgia
  • and and more!

May I inspire others in some small way to do the same.  Life is not easy.  It is not all sand between the toes.  There are so many struggles and you have the choice to walk through, put one foot in front of the other, value the time and know that no matter what you are going through…….it will pass.  There is something to be grateful for every day.   Trust me I have walked the miles to clear the brain and lived some struggles but I choose to focus on the positive.  I know there is so much more to be done, more purpose and ways to reach out.  That is what I am striving to do!

Waking up in the morning is a blessing.  We don’t live in a world of perpetual peace, but one laden with bouts of chaos.  On top of this, accidents do happen and people get severely injured and die because of them.  Getting another day to breathe, to experience life, and to do something meaningful is the greatest gift one can receive.  Make today count!”
