Mixed Media Monday Re-Cap 12/26/16 – Special Guest…My Dad

This Monday for Mixed Media Monday I had a special guest…The one and only, my Dad!  He has a knack for making me laugh and supporting me like no other.  It is fun to have him in Studio (you never know what will happen).   We both painted on 11 X 14″ Canvas panels with DecoArt Media and Dynasty Brushes.

Love all the texture in this piece and how easy it was!….

The most fun was just creating with this man…….and sharing my family with you all ♥

Thank you for sharing so many Monday’s and so much more.  Don’t forget to join our Facebook Group HERE:  Mixed Media Monday’s!  It is truly about the inspiration, the connections and letting it go.  Just a reminder to check out my calendar of events for classes and Mixed Media Monday Dates.   The next Mixed Media Monday is Monday, January 2nd!  We are kicking off 2017 TOGETHER!
Until then…do something creative everyday!

  1. Truly amazing night of fun with you and your super fine Dad! And despite all the ‘teaching’ you did in between painting – your artwork for the night is WONDERFUL. Your winter flower is PERFECT. I love how it turned out. j.

  2. How amazing to have your Dad with you in the studio! Looks like you guys had a great time together and the memories will always be there to remind you of this wonderful time! Too many people don’t take the time to make memories like this!
Beautiful painting along with the beautiful memory! TFS!
