I needed five quick birthday cards for this month so I pulled out my Gelli Plate and an array of my favorite DecoArt paints to make my own paper and make them quick and easy!
Supplies Needed:
- Brayer
- Gelli Plate
- DecoArt Americana Paints…..lots of them!
- Baby Wipes
- Stencils (not necessary but makes it fun!) – Crafter's Workshop are my personal favorites!
Here are the five custom papers I made in less then five minutes…….
Here are the step-by-step photos for the various patterns…….

The entire process was all about keeping it simple and making five birthday cards very fast. I cut 3 pieces of cardstock in half and folded to create my card base, added my custom backgrounds and then stamped/heat embossed "Happy Birthday" along with some simple doodling. Voila……DONE!
