One week ago I returned from Donna Downey's Inspired Artist Workshop in North Carolina. Helmar USA, Inc. was a proud sponsor and the event was a huge success. It was an GREAT week. I had the honor of teaching a mini workshop along side some of the most amazing artists. At one point I had to pinch myself when I saw my name between Stephanie Ackerman's and Margie Romney-Aslett:
Of course it was great to spend time with Donna as she is always a ton of fun! She puts on a such a great event…
I was so excited for my Mini Workshop and had the honor of spending nearly 2 hours with some amazing ladies. I absolutely LOVED being there and we had a great time with lots of gluing and laughing (two of my favorite things!)….
At the completion of my class I wrote on Facebook: "You ever worked for something so hard, believed in it and then felt the fruits of your labor? Feeling just that….."
There were new friends……..Tracy and Tracie (watch out for us!):

and ones that just felt like home…….
