So I never imagined that taking my thoughts public about being grateful would be so much fun! I love to write in my journal and when I decided to add some color voila…….a watercolor journal that I just post random thoughts. Then I decide to share and since Monday the emails have been pouring in. Here is he first one I would like to share:
Hi Tracy…wanted to thank you for the demo on the liquid scrap dots on your Ustream video. I appreciate it and it answered a lot of questions on Helmar's glues. As for your "Gratitude" Journal…I've started one called "Inspired Blessings" it all began with my husbands heart attack on 1/3/11. The short version….he died in my arms…I couldn't administer CPR, so I just held him and prayed…I asked God to do the CPR and give him back to me and by the time the Paramedics arrived almost 15 minutes later he was awake and could tell them his name….so I'm very grateful that we get to celebrate out 15 year anniversary on May 4th. We also have a blessing jar we add to everyday. Life is good♥ Hugs Noel aka Mimzies Wimzs…wink ;-D
On May 4th which also my birthday I will be thinking of Noel and her husband and wishing them a very Happy Anniversary. Thank you Noel for Inspiring me.
So last night I sat down to create my first entry of gratitude (I have a hard time starting a new project so the first page is always the hardest) and it hit me……..I am grateful for perspective. The perspective that stories like Noel gives that no matter how bad (or good) you think you have it there are others who may have bigger fish to fry. It is through those tough times that blessings come.
If you are reading "Living Life as a Thank You" Chapter Five is a great chapter. On that note, I send special thoughts to my family back home. Some of my family members who are dealing with some significant health issues. Times like these I want to be back in Michigan holding those I love.
