Sometimes in life I feel myself wrapped in how much I am doing, where I am going next, what task needs to be done. Then there are days like today when the simple things are the most important. Since Fall is my favorite time of year I love to be out and about especially if we get a cloud or two in the sky (rare for Southern California). Today was one of those days. The simpliest pleasure of picking apples with the kids was so great. I took along my camera and between Tyler and I we shot 164 pictures. Tyler was really getting into it and took command of the camera. I have been hired a lot lately to take photos so it felt good to just get back behind my camera for pleasure and the kids were just posing right along. Plus we got tons of good apples. Now that is what I call a great day!
