Upon returning from CHA, recovering from being sick and then some down time with a injured Achilles I decided I was overdue for some “Me” time in the Studio. Last weekend I did just that. I pulled out my DecoArt Media Line (as this was also practice for the upcoming Painter’s Show I will be demonstrating at). I pulled out my art journal and here are the pages…
this page was all about the DecoArt Media Gesso and texture….
Another page all about texture and mixing mediums to see what happens…
This time was so needed…….
Some great ideas came from this “me” Studio time and ready to hit the upcoming projects I have! Have a great weekend and don’t forget to take a little time for yourself!
Where you are right now is a necessary step. All too often we avoid experiencing exactly where we are because we have developed a belief, based on our ideals or some lie someone once told us, that it is not where we should be or want to be. But the truth is, where you are right now is exactly where you need to be to get to where you want to go tomorrow. Take a deep breath, take it all in, and take the lessons with you.”
Have a great weekend too!
THANK YOU! About to paint between games LOL
Gorgeous pages!! Do you always stand when you paint? Love that worktable! “)
I do….I love the perspective and being able to walk away. I am not so great at an easel but love being on my worktable 🙂
