I am on the last couple of pages in my Art Journal and this weekend I took to doing what I love most……..painting!  My art journal is my personal playground for ideas.  Sometimes I share the creative process and sometimes I just share the completed pages like I did yesterday.  Today I have some step outs of a page I painted last night.

STEP-BY-STEP

• Gesso background with Decoart Media Gesso (White)
• Background DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics (Diarylide Yellow, Hansa Yellow Medium & Pyrrole Orange)
• Stencil Andy Skinner Stencil with DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylic (Pryrrole Red)
• Blend in more DecoArt Fluid Acrylics (Pyrolle Red, Pyrrole Orange, Cadmium Orange Hue and Diarylide Yellow)

• Tear Flowers out of book text and adhere together with DecoArt Matte Medium
• Color flowers with DeocArt Fluid Acrylics and Spray with DecoArt Gloss Sealer – Distress all edges with Memento Black Ink Pad
• Adhere flowers to page with Beacon 3-in-1 and draw stems/flowers with DecoArt Media Gesso (Black)
• Adhere Buttons to centers of flowers with Beacon 3-in-1

• Print Title on white paper and adhere with DecoArt Media Matte Medium to complete page.
