The mad Artist Scientist is back at it in the lab………I mean Studio! I am excited to share some of my latest pieces from my Canson 9 X 12 Art Journal. They are true labors of love and some I will bring to you step outs and some are just late-night experiments.
Let’s start with my love for all things daisy! I just love them and this page is my most recent love of loves……….
Then I go bold with this poppy!
and my next flower loved-filled page is here……
Here I share this page in progress..
Right now I am loving the creative process and want to bring as much of it to you as I can! I hope this inspires you to pick up a brush and just play. Do not be inhibited and let it go! More to come…I promise! Stay tuned HERE tomorrow for a special giveaway from CANSON!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whenever you catch yourself thinking, “Things should be different right now,” take a deep breath. That’s not true and you know it. Because if it were true, things would be different right now. Stay present and focus on what you can create today. And tomorrow will reveal itself exactly as it should, just as yesterday already has.
Thank you for sharing the pages. My favorite flower is the traditional white daisy! Did you use a medium for the textured background? P.S. Perfect timing for the quote at the end of today’s post. : D
thanks Carol. I have a video coming out on this soon….stay tuned 🙂
Looking forward to the video. Daisies are my favorite. Can’t wait to see how you did the background!
Love the big red flower..love the ending quote better–we do like finding blame for not being where we want, when most always, we are the one keeping ourselves tethere…have an awesome day!
♥ so true!
I really needed to see this. I have not done any art for myself in a long time and I need to do some today. Thank you Tracy for the art and words of encouragement! Love, Nancy
Let it Go Nancy and join me! Time to have some you time!
I am IN LOVE with your first painting with the daisies! How did you get that awesome background? The white “scratchy” marks are the bomb!
Oops! I should have read your previous comment and answer about the background. I look forward to your video!
Just don’t think I can choose a favorite out of these…but I really really want to so…………. hmmmmm, hmmmmmm, ugh…. errrrrrrrrrr – I can’t do it. They are all 3 so different and just so GORGEOUS in their own way. BEAUTIFUL art Tracy. j.
I really love all 3 but, the white daisy especially with all the texture. I can see the big red one with some sparkly glitter in center.
Love the flowers – that’s really you!!!!
Tracy, I love, love, love the background for the daisies. I love the daisies too but want to know how you did the background. Please share with us!!!
