Preparations are underway for the Society of Decorative International Show in San Diego for DecoArt…….The Studios is abundant with the BRAND NEW 2016 products!
I made a run to our local thrift shop for some goodies to refinish. The first one I bought was this mini chair that I thought would best demonstrate the DecoArt Outdoor Living line…this was a $3.00 find!
Super simple project and that is what I loved about it…
- Wipe the surface clean and apply first coat of DecoArt Outdoor Living (Fire Pit) and let dry
- Lightly sand between coats for smoother finish
- Apply second coat and let dry
- Use DecoArt Home & Garden Reusable Sick-on Stencils (Arabian Tile) and DecoArt Outdoor Living (Harvest).
Super simple and NO SEALER Required!
Cool little project for $3!
Stay tuned for more projects! Join me at SDP in San Diego June 6-11th!
“Go home to who you are” ~ My Aunt Linda who reminded me of this!
Great job! The After is definitely much prettier than the before! TFS!
I decided to make it simple! and did love the ease of the paints!
Just ADORABLY SPENDID. What a great find for a great artist to make LOVELY! j.
THANKS!!!
Cute!
hanks Charlotte!
Glad to see this post. I have a couple little chests that
I wanted to re-paint but I thought I would have to strip
the old paint off first – a job I’ve been dreading for several
years. Now that I see you can paint over older paint
I’m going to get busy and re-do them.
thanks.
the chair looks great.
Stay tuned this week for more DIY projects too! I just decided to dig right in!
Adorable! When will this product be available?
Our church has some free standing bars that need to be repainted. I was going to redo the tops for them and was going to use the High Gloss product on them. Is that the best choice or would the outdoor one be better?
I believe they are available at Hobby Lobby and JoAnn’s 🙂
