I have to admit that I love this time of year.  Spring is upon us and do you know how I know this?  By the sound of the baseball bats hitting the balls, dust on my camera equipment, perfect spring weather, cleats, helmets, jocks (that in our house become head wear), lost socks, sunflower seeds in my dryer, snack duty, dugout mom……..it is BASEBALL SEASON.  I love this time of year because the games start and the kids are excited.  We had a scrimmage yesterday and I have to say that Tyler's coach has a love for baseball that is infectious………….

Now keep in mind that in about 1 month the weather turns hot and unbearable, the sound of the balls hitting the bats give me a major headache, the dust up my nose and on my camera drives me nuts, I want to shove the lost sock down someones throat, sunflower seeds and their corresponding shells make me ill, their so-called beloved equipment is all over my car and I have had enough of hearing "Mom, I forgot my hat".  Snacks become those stale ones from deep in the cabinet because I forgot to buy them and I want to lynch anyone who sings "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" but for today I lap up the freshness of the season and await opening day on March 7th…………..PLAY BALL.
