As I was on one of my walks I heard this some from Lady Antebellum and I wanted to share it:

This had me thinking because I have some friends going through some rough things in their lives and I am no stranger to those times.  As they are facing their challenges it gave me time to let them know that one day things will get better.  No matter what things always have a working out and in the process it is easy to forget that.  This song hits home for me in so many ways.  You do find out what you are made of.  This has me looking at changes I have made lately and chances I am taking.

I got this email the other day with a piece of Art:

Tracy, I see and watch a lot of mixed media, scrapbooking and other crafts on U-tube and Ustream, I am very good with making things from what I watch.  But you, well let me tell you, you did something I thought I would never agree to, I painted a picture, my first ever without tracing, paint-by-the-number, just did it, all because of you and your relaxed way of doing things.  Your laid back attitude is so inspiriting and you made be believe I could do it.   I know this is all hokey.  I am a retired neurosurgical nurse, everything by the rules and not able to free hand anything that looks artsy.

I travel all over the country in my RV, by myself & my 4 legged friend, you have given me the inspiration to do something with all these acrylics and watercolors that I have collected now, when I come in at night, I have given myself permission to just put my ideas down on paper, no matter how good it is.  Never to later to teach an old dog new tricks even at 73.

A note:  I raised 6 kids after a divorce, went back to school for nursing, had my own business and am now RETIRED, you have shown me I too, can have fun “outside the line”.

I have never written to anyone and thanked them on the internet, but I just wanted you to know, I appreciate what you do and still take care of your children and all the other hassles, but still make us, your audience, feel we have you undivided attention.  Thank you,  ~ Marilyn

She has traveled the roads.  She knows.  I also got this message with our traveling cape

I just sat down and read the entire cape journal.  Tears!!  Wow, This has become something truly amazing.  Tomorrow is my ‘cape day’.  Going to wear it all day and play in my Studio.  Thank you so much for being you and for being so open to God’s leading in your life.  He is using you in incredible ways to touch so many. ~ Lori

We all have a journey.  For years I know my guiding light is my kids.  I love my life.  I love the steps traveled (even the hard ones because they had the best lessons).  I love to wake up every day and see what new path I am on.  I am not always sure about it but leaping and spreading those wings is a major part of it.  Today’s doodle in my mini art journal is to remind everyone……

One_Day

It is great to be back in my Studio where I love to be.  I am one blessed girl to have amazing friends who are there for me as I am there for them.  One Day They Will get through it….and I am here.

You have everything you need within you to become the best possible version of yourself.  Believe that you CAN.  Believe that you’re capable of pushing harder and farther than you have before.  Believe that you’re young enough, old enough, smart enough and strong enough to achieve your goals.  Don’t let false beliefs stop you from moving beyond yourself.  And certainly don’t get sidetracked by other people who are not on track.
