There was one event I hosted at CHA that I questioned if people would embrace it. It was our Decoart Mystery Box Challenges. Participants had to sign up for 1 of 4 sessions that I held in the DecoArt Education Area (12 participants per session). They had 45 minutes to create outside the box (literally!). They had (6) DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics that they got to keep and shared: DecoArt Media Matte Medium, Gesso, Decoupage Papers, Stencils and Chipboard! Then it was paint away.
Every session was filled and we had some amazing art going on!
No two houses were alike!
We had giveaways and the excitement was doubled when we got down to the last minute and I yelled paint brushes down…..
We had live Periscopes from Tanner Bell and Courtney who were right in the action…
Thanks to all who participated and loved it!. Here is a VIDEO of our time shared painting outside the box!
and you can see Tanner and Courtney’s video here:
I absolutely had the best time and yes, I did paint along with the last two groups and gave my houses away as part of the giveaways. Thanks everyone for making it such a success!
Be mindful. Stress comes from the way you react, not the way life is. Adjust your attitude and the stress is gone. You control the way you look at life. Right this moment, your thoughts are setting the direction for your day. Choose thoughts that lead to the day you most desire to live today.”

that look like so much fun would have loved to be in one of those groups, but I’m pretty sure I would not have finished in 45 mins but fun trying too…..
It was great! everyone was scared at first and then loved it!
Saw lots of folks at the show showing off their finished houses, and they were pretty excited about the paints, too!!
love to hear that! I was hoping no one would hate it or the pressure. ♥
