A “no make-up” Day

Last night we all welcomed in 2007 together.  The kids  wanted to stay up andDsc_2304 they did pretty well.  We watched the movie "Cinderella Man" which was great.  Then we tuned in for the ball to drop.  The twins fell asleep on the floor and Prd25ozsparkcider_1 were peaceful until Tyler decided to re-create boxing in our  living room and tripped on poor Micky.  That woke her up in time to drink some "bubbly".  We poured Martinelli’s sparkling cider for all and toasted in the new year.  JoJo could not make it and we put his glass down by him sleeping on the floor.  Ringing in the new year with family is a special way to celebrate.

I love days like today.  I leisurely got up (at 10:00 am!) and started out the day slow.  Today is whatDsc_2343 Dsc_2340_1I term a "no make-up" day.  I took my shower and caught up on laundry and scrapbooked!  The kids were outside playing, dad was putting on our cabinet hardware and mom handled dinner (a very yummy dinner!).  Gotta love that.  I locked myself in office to do some projects for CHA.  I am a bit behind on some Design Team work so am using some photos I already had on hand but did these two canvases for Fiber Scraps. This was a wondreful way to start 2007.

I also got my new iPod all loaded and ready for the gym tomorrow.  That checks off Item #2 on my Life List.  Great start to the year!  I hope everyone enjoyed their New Year’s Day like we did.
