Saturday in the Studio – Art Journal Inspiration

Lately I have been in the Studio experimenting, video taping, and playing in my NEW art journal.  I am in love with this art journal.  Stay tuned for the video fun but I am learning new software and just want to share the pages I have done.  Lately the computer Gods have not liked me.  This first layout was supposed to be a video but silly me did not video one whole segment!  Here is DecoArt products paired with Grafix Rub-Onz.  This was a crazy fun page to create!!!!!

I do not have the video but I do have step outs of the creative process!

Special thanks to Grafix for sending me some things to experiment with!

Here are some other pages:

So if you are looking for me…I have been locked in the Studio and trying to feel the creative mojo.  Stay tuned for more fun and hope you find these pages/techniques inspiring.  Lots more to come if the computer Gods would just play nice with me.

You are a work in progress; which means you get there a little at a time, not all at once.  When you feel like you’re sweating and running in circles, understand that we all feel like this sometimes, especially when life’s demands are high and the work is challenging.  This doesn’t mean you should give up.  Make adjustments as necessary, but keep putting one foot in front of the other.  You are not really running in circles; you are running upwards, gradually.  The path is just a spiral set of steps… You have already climbed higher than you realize.”

  1. Tracy, on the laugh page you made last Sunday and testing the website link… I missed the beginning. What did you use to make the swirls? Thanks so much! Love them all!!

  2. You always leave me with creativity envy. These pages are terrific, great colours & themes. The backgrounds are wonderful too. Wish Wish Wish I could have all the decoArt products & your ability! The quote at the end is thought provoking……
