Today’s exercise in the art journal was about creating my own backgrounds with Gelli Arts NEW Edge tools! These prints were all made on deli paper that I adhered to my art journal as a fun background page! Fun to mix and match!

What happy journal pages! You will probably laugh but this totally reminds me of what I see out my window each day. Your stripes look just like my blinds at my window. I never open them all the way for several reasons: heat, cold, and we have lots of guests out here so.. privacy! Soooooo… when I look out they look like your stripes and through them I see beautiful birds in our feeders as well as my lovely flowers. And look – there is even a little building showing thru one of your stripes – that could be our barn!!! Really great artwork Tracy!! j.
