I have finally found some time to paint and spring has sprung…it is my favorite time of year. Its the flowers, the renewed growth, spring break…my birthday! And fresh flowers in the art journal seem to bring me peace.. This first page is a combination of watercolors and DecoArt Mixed Media paints….
and this next piece was my take on a daffodil after I saw this email….
I was not even sure I could paint a daffodil but gave it a shot……the quote was so fitting. Getting back to play inspires me! That is the effect spring has on me. What is your favorite season? When do you feel most inspired?

The first one is lovely Tracy but the daffodil just takes me back thru the years. It’s so true that the daffodil always symbolizes spring. They somehow manage to push up through the ground when you most need to see them. You did a wonderful daffodil. Do more!!!! j.
