Excuse my absence.  We are running a hospital ward around here.  I was sick on Sunday & Monday which made saying good-bye to my parents much easier.  I just waved and went back to bed for two days.  Pete was sick Monday.  Tyler got it Tuesday & Wednesday and stayed home from school and Micky was home today.  So I am waiting for the last patient to come down with it.  It is just that yucky head cold, sore throat, and aches.  Oh how I hate to be ill and hate even more when everyone else gets it and I have to play nurse.  I am keeping my fingers crossed that they all return to their respective positions tomorrow. 

So on a happy note……..This weekend is Valentine's Day.  I love this holiday.  It celebrates love, chocolate and flowers.  You gotta love any holiday that celebrates chocolate!  I thought I would share the gifts I made for the kid's teachers.  I altered boxes of Chocolate with matching cards.

Supplies:  Helmar Adhesives:  Liquid Scrap Dots (for all that dimension), Gemstone Glue, Acid Free Glue, & Premium Craft Glue.  Paper & Stickers:  Basic Grey Bittersweet.  Buttons:  Buttons Galore & More.

Those were fun and easy to make and so much prettier than that plain old box.  Don't ya think?
