I was inspired by Jean who shared her work hanging on her wall and that got me thinking…why is my art not on display. I love photography and art yet I have not one thing on my walls! Those walls are giant canvases! I am the plumber with the leaky faucet or the landscaper with the overgrown lawn.  This artist needs a space to hang her art and I got it!!!

Thanks to these floating shelves and some help from dear friends (because we all know that making the commitment of where to put those shelves takes an act of congress with me) they were put up all in one evening!

I am my all time worst critic so when I thought of hanging my own photos or art I did not like it but you know what…I do like it and it is what I do and what I love. For heavens sake, other people are buying it and putting it in their space…why not in my own sanctuary? It is OK to embrace you and what you love so time to stop that negative critic voice!

So now as I enter/exit my studio I have my own creativity!

Now I have plans for my entryway wall for all our family pictures that I take so many of….I have this great saying to go along with it "A picture is worth a thousand words".  They sure are!
