Prep your art journal page by taping off the edges with Painter’s Tape. For this project, I will be using rice paper on my background. Tear it up into a few pieces, apply a coat of Matte Medium to your page, and lay the paper on top. Add additional Matte Medium on top. This will give a great texture to your background!

Next, I will add Green Gold, Cobalt Teal Hue, Primary Cyan, and white in vertical strokes. Dry with a heat tool.

Use white gesso to paint on five daisy flowers. Then, I’ll paint some of my flower petals with white paint and some with Yellow Hansa Medium. Dry with a heat tool.

Next, I’ll use a small stencil brush to add Quin Gold and black to my flower centers. Then, I’ll use a liner brush to outline and add detail lines to my flower petals with black paint.

Use a very dry chip brush to add Prussian Blue Hue around the edges of your page. Dry with a heat tool. Then, I’ll use my finger to go around the edges using Dare 2b Artzy: Totally Black ink.

Seal your art journal page with DuraClear (Satin). Remove the painter’s tape and enjoy!
