I have been keeping track of my weeks in pictures and taking a moment to look back at all those moments I capture. We are so busy and I appreciate where we are and what we have going on around here.
This week I logged in over 12 miles walking……(probably double that in talking and laughing!)
We even had to work for it and it was worth it…..(a contortionist I am not). Before you think it was breaking & entering it was more like we could not find the gate that was actually open where everyone else enterted through LOL. We made sure to use the open one on the way out 🙂
A yummy dinner with my good friend where we think we were on candid camera! John Quinois from "What would you do" I swear was there to witness our laughing! Thanks J-!
I left a little love for the kiddos this week
got some happy boot-wearing time in that even included dancing! You cannot beat that!
Also included…..(2) high school soccer games and 1 basketball game along with work, work and more work. Only to get to the weekend which makes it all worth it………
a new apron hit my studios! Details to follow…..
Kiddos sleepovers and their friends coming and going meant time for us parents to kick back and play some "friendly" games of pool and darts (I won't even gloat who was the pool champ…….insert Elaine Benes happy dance for me!)
I share these only because I love her………and she was such a good sport (NOT!)
Thanks Tina, Mike, Travis and Victoria from coming over…laughter was the best and the kids running amuck was great!
Finally capped off Sunday with a hike with just the kiddos
This weekend even included a lawn mower that would not start and a dropped credit card at Costco (which thankfully someone turned in right away). Thank you God for the work, these moments and setting me straight on how important balance is in your life. I do not take these blessings for granted. Nor do I take these pictures for granted that remind me of all I have in my life…hope you are capturing yours.
Now bring on Monday!!!!! Let's get our art on LIVE tonight!
"Everything you do, everything you say, every choice you make, comes back around. If you want to be rich, be generous. If you want to make friends, be friendly. If you want to be understood by others, take the time to truly understand them. If you want to be heard, listen. If you want to live an interesting life, be interested the happenings around you. If you wish to truly learn and master a skill, study what you can and then teach someone else what you know. If you long for peace, act in peace and harmony. If you want the world to change, start with the one in the mirror. What you give is eventually what you get. Whatever it is you hope to achieve in this life, give it, nurture it, be it, and you will enjoy a lifetime filled with it many times over."
