Spring soccer season is once upon us for Joey and what a first game they had! I have to share because this is a proud mommy moment. He played goalie for the first half of the game and shut them down.
Then he was forward for the second and got his FIRST goal ever! Long time coming as he usually plays defense but so worth the wait!! and this is what it looks like after that first score….
Mom just looks like a screaming kook trying to snap a photo and of course I missed the goal and that was the first thing he asked! "Mom, did you get that?!"………go figure! They won 9-0. Great start to the season and much needed after losing soccer and basketball seasons for poor Joey.
