For this art journal page, you only need a handful of simple supplies and three paint colors – that’s it! I love the Extreme Sheen (24K Gold) paint, so I will primarily use that to create some golden posies on a dark background. This one is different, fun, and perfect for beginners!
Prep your art journal page by taping off the edges with painter’s tape and applying a coat of DecoArt Chalky Gesso (White). Let dry.
I’m going to add a coat of DecoArt Chalky Paints (Honor), which is a navy blue color. Dry with a heat tool.
I’ll use a liner brush and Extreme Sheen (24K Gold) paint to doodle flowers and leaves onto my entire page.
Next, I’ll use DecoArt Media (Pyrrole Red) and add some pops of color with some little hearts here and there. Dry with a heat tool and remove your painter’s tape.
