As you get older you will find that life isn’t necessarily any easier or harder than you thought it was going to be; it’s just that the easy and the hard aren’t exactly the way you had anticipated, and don’t always occur when you expect them to. This isn’t a bad thing; it makes life interesting. With a positive attitude you will often be pleasantly surprised. When you stop expecting things to be a certain way, you can appreciate them for what they are. Ultimately you will realize that life’s greatest gifts are rarely wrapped the way you expected.”
It was funny but the whole time you were painting this – I kept thinking about you and your “village” and how each house could represent one of those families. Until I met you – I had never heard of anyone having a village. And thru the years, it’s been such fun to watch the seasons of life within your village group. Then your face book post last night of you WITH your village gals made me laugh. There were five gals in your post and five houses in your painting!!!! It was being painted at your house so that makes the six in your photo!!! And the words you added to your ‘village’ are perfect and TRUE. As always, I love you creations but this one is so FABULOUSLY ADORABLE and WHIMSICAL. It’s a TOTALLY TRACY VILLAGE! Love it!! j.
oh boy Joi……..did you post strike a chord with me. We laughed and cried last night and it was so amazing! I needed that time with them more then I thought ♥ Stay tuned for a post.
