Here is my creative Dare for you for August:
- Create a project featuring a photo/portrait of YOU!
- Journal or use words to describe who you are TODAY!
- Incoporate your own handwriting in your piece
Ready, set, CREATE! I know this is truly a challenge and I have embraced it myself! Let who YOU are shine through!
For my project I created a 11X 15 page in my art journal and this was a tough one for me! I wanted to show what 42 feels like for me today………..
MATERIALS LIST:
Paints, Gesso & Decoupage (DecoArt), Charcoal Pencil, Ink (Winsor Newton & Dawler Rowney), Stamp Ink (Marvy Uchida & StayzOn), Template (The Crafter’s Workshop), Watercolor Crayons (Craon d’ Ache)).

Immediately when I announced the challenge some of you himmed and hawed. I told you this is a create DARE and I really want to see all of YOU this month! Andy put it perfectly:

Those bumps, bruises, and scars in life is who we are today!. It makes us unique. That is OUR story to be told.
