I have been not writing……..the inspiration or spark to write have not been there and time has been slim.  I shared something very personal a couple of weeks ago about my dear friend Tina who is no longer with us (physically….those words are hard to say)……

The words “Life Happens” and “Life Goes On” seem to keep coming up and it does but it is hard.  For me this means moving forward, embracing my life, new job, taking care of the daily ups and downs of a family with 4 teenagers, and now WRITING………

and I have painted…..

and then I have painted three commissioned pieces for three special friends.  I am happy I took on these pieces for Nadine and her friends.  It is ever so true that “Lifelong friends share laughter and tears throughout the years”.  What timely pieces for me to paint again….art heals ♥

Life goes on with new purpose and a reminder that life is so precious.  I find joy in the little things and make time for them.

” When you lose someone you can’t imagine living without, your heart breaks wide open.  And the bad news is you never completely get over the loss – you will never forget them.  However, in a backwards way, this is also the good news.  You see, death is an ending, which is a necessary part of living.  And endings are necessary for beauty too – otherwise it’s impossible to appreciate someone or something, because they are unlimited.  Limits illuminate beauty, and death is the definitive limit – a reminder that we need to be aware of this beautiful person or situation, and appreciate this beautiful thing called life.  Death is also a beginning, because while we have lost someone special, this ending, like the loss of a job, is a moment of reinvention.  Although sad, their passing forces us to reinvent our lives, and in this reinvention is an opportunity to experience beauty in new, unseen ways and places.  And finally, of course, death is an opportunity to celebrate a person’s life, and to be grateful for the beauty they showed us.”
