"Children serve as an impossible-to-ignore, in-your-face timepieces, marking the relentless Bookmarch of one’s life through what otherwise might seem an infinite sea of minutes, hours, days, and years."…….so true.  Read this today from our book club selection: "Marley & Me" By John Grogan.  I don’t consider myself a dog person (at all) but I loved this book.  I read that quote over and over as I was watching the twins swim.  Just seems like yesterday when they needed my help in the pool but no more.  As the days tick by the kids need my ever-loving assistance less and less.  Don’t get me wrong.  I truly love being able to sit by that pool and actually read complete sentences.  They just seem to be my watch to measure the time passing.
