Doing what you Love!

When you find what fills your heart and what you are passionate about the other stuff just dosen't matter. I read this the other day:

Sometimes things have to go wrong before they can go right. Sometimes you have to let the wrong people walk out before the right people can walk in. Sometimes you have to feel weak in order to know what it’s like to truly be strong. Sometimes you have to feel a little broken to realize you’ll never truly be shattered. Sometimes you have to meet a lot of people you like before you find the one you love. Sometimes you have to take the good in with the bad, knowing that in the end it’s all a worthwhile learning experience.

I keep saying that I don't know where I am going but I sure know where I have been (thank you Whitesnake for one of my most favorite songs). When you dig yourself into something you love and are the keeper of your time and energy it makes all the difference.

Monday I shared some handpainted cards I have been painting and I have a few more to share. They are small and fast projects. They are expressions of myself….no over-thinking and just making something I would be proud to give.

I carry that same passion into every facet of my life…with my kids, friends, family, and home.

Whatever you choose; running, fishing, wood carving….do it with love. What I do, I love and finding another way to do it excites me! From art journals, canvases, a scrapbook layout, sketching, drawing, photography, my art has evolved and changed as I have. It has taken me to a place I could never image and I am beyind excited to see where it takes me!

AND……….the GREAT news is I will be teaching handpainted cards locally at Stamping Details in October!! WOO HOO! Stay tuned for details!
