Do I know my hubby or what? I woke up Friday morning to Flowers and a beautiful card. Pete does not always express himself verbally but has a tremendous knack for writing.
Then I was off and running to my class at the gym. Our trainer brought it! She was the girl and I was so proud of her. The Sportscaster took the class and I could tell he thought it was tough. For local San Diegans it is supposed to air Sunday night 11:30 pm on Channel 39 Sportswrap. They interviewed me at the end but I felt very dorky.
From there I went to work at the motorcycle shop. I was bummed to find out that when our computer went down last week and the computer guy fixed it he was only able to restore an older copy of work on Quickbooks so I was bummed that I had to backtrack and did not make as much head-way setting up the books as I had wanted. Pete and the kids came by and brought me lunch. I came home around 4:30 pm and we went to Outback for dinner. It was funny when Pete asked the waitress if they sing and bring a dessert. She looked at me and said they only sing if we really want them to……..heck yeah I want that song LOL. She looked surprised that a 37 year old woman wanted it but heck yeah. We laughed hard after they left because they half-heartedly sang the song. Once we got home I decided a little nap would be great. I woke up from that nap at 7:30 AM! Boy oh boy did I get a great 12 hours of sleep.
I want to thank everyone for the phone calls, cards, and email greetings for my birthday!
Today Pete took all the kids to baseball (my greatest gift) so I could clean. Shelly and Colleen will be here at 12:30 for some shopping (Thanks to my parents and grandparents for the money) and lunch before the evening festivities begin. This has been a tradition for the past five years. Isn’t life great?
