For me art fills a place inside me that needs to be fed and shared.  The process of taking a white piece of paper to something filled with color is probably similar to a musician putting lyrics to music.  Now that I share my passion for this crazy thing called art it is scary to put yourself out there let along create something in one hour.  What if I am not in the mood?  What if I hate what I create?  but I realize that if I am going to open myself up to share and am encouraging others to take those creative risks than I have to be willing to do the same.  Some days things just do not work and that will happen so that has inspired me to just stop thinking so much and doing.

Last night we did just that and that is my vision for my Ustream channel…a place to uplift and take some chances.  I will give homework…I will challenge you and by the awesome response BOY did you guys accept the challenge!  I had so many posts, tags and emails there will have to be two posts to cover them all!

So here is what we created LIVE last night in one hour:

From Paula:  "Hi Tracy, Here is the wall hanging I made on a 5 x 7 canvas from your inspiration.  I started it last week and just finished it tonight because I needed to buy the India ink.  The saying from tonight worked perfect on it.  Thank you so much for inspiring me.  I can't wait to start working in my new art journal." ~Paula

I continue to encourage you to take those creative risks and do that second page in your art journal.  Yes, I know that first one is scary so as suggested Thursday night, just dig right in on page two!  Starting new things is always a bit scary but so rewarding!
