Today I created this page in my art journal….it was a quick and easy page that I really like how it turned out. Love that Sprakle Paint by Jacquard that I dripped down the page.
I saw the quote "It is Well with my Soul" and liked how nice and simple that fitted my mood and the page…..Little did I know the significance of that quote until it was pointed out to me (THANKS LIZ!) that it was a song/hymn by Horatio G. Spafford:
When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul………
How perfectly fitting to how I feel about this page. I feel my eyes were just opened with this quote and my simple little page and enjoyed reading this about this song HERE.

Amazing how art and words can tie into your life and present itself just when you need it. I am glad I created this page and I am glad I heard the song……
