Right now life around here is busy! If we are not at a field of some sort we are at a court and I mean the wood floored kind of court…..
the baseball fields……
and the soccer fields….
and prom dates are set…..
Strange how unending laughter from the kitchen making a boat load of cupcakes…
and a house full of teenagers makes me so happy…..
Don’t get me wrong……..life is far from perfect with this many teenagers around. Half the time I want to ring their necks, am chasing after them to do their homework, clean their room, car, respect me (cough, cough) and not sound like a nagging idiot. We are college planning, focusing on futures and I am daily praying that I am a half decent mother while leaning on my fella so I don’t fall over. Yet I am happy when they are home.
Graduation is around the corner and I thank heavens at the end of the day for everyone in this house and this bathtub! I daily find my much needed Calgon time…..
I think this fella is happy fishing season is upon us too…..(boy I wish I liked fish or that bacon swam!)
there is no rest for the weary around here…except for these two…….
So from our crazy home to yours. Keep on keeping on and hang on to the daily hope we are doing the best we can!
Harmony in relationships is nice when it’s sincere, but too often we try to fake it. Effective communication is king. You have to talk it out sometimes. After all, the only way to be happy in life is to live with integrity. This means: Not settling for less than what you know you deserve in your relationships. Being clear and asking for what you want and need from others. Speaking your truth, even though it might create occasional tension. Behaving in ways that are in agreement with your personal values. Making choices based on what you believe, and not just what others believe”
Heheheheh- this was wonderful Tracy. How about you do a journal page about bacon swimming???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Totally made me laugh out loud. I don’t know how you do all that you do…. dear me. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I question every second of my running around but am grounded in what comes first…my family. The creativity is a second close that I value!
What a sweet post about your circus! The older I am the more I am like my true self and I have less fear about letting it out. Thank you for sharing!
I agree with you. This is my world. It is crazy and chaotic and I would not trade it…well, sometimes I would but. It is a gift ♥
