I am a water person. I love to be by the water, on and around it. So when I met a man who fishes and captain’s boats that was a great day. I now find time to walk, see the marina’s and check out more of San Diego…
with some walking buddies…(“mine, mine, mine” from Nemo)
sometimes I get the occasional time to sit and enjoy one of these…
while I see the sights……
and the sunsets I love so much….
until I spot his arrival..
and seeing the smile on his face doing what he loves…
It’s not about how fast the journey is but slowing it down and enjoying the here and now. Ever so thankful for that down time and seeing that man do something I know he loves so much…….
To live a happy, fulfilling life we have to learn to appreciate and love what we have. If you fall in love then do your sincere best to nurture your love. Don’t wait for things to end before you start appreciating them.”

Wish we brought in that many fish at our lake!
I know huh Jean?!!!! They caught their limit. Too bad I am not a fish fan.
I am so excited to finally tell you that I will be moving to San Diego next month. As a girl who has spent her whole life (48 years) on the East Coast, mostly in FL, I am super excited to start the next chapter of my journey, even more after reading this blog post.
WOW oh WOW! very cool for you. I love this great city and so will you!!!
Thanks so much for that. I am getting a super excited. I am officially starting to pack tomorrow. Please save me a couple of those white pens. 😉
just put in order for more! LOVE them too!
Oh such fun…
thanks Bev…i thought so too
I am so jealous. I’ll have to make a special trip to San Diego. My daughter lives in a small town called Tehachapi near Bakersfield so I make my trip there every other year. I would love to move to CA. My parents are in Mackinaw right now for a wedding on the island. Great place to be right now, too.
I love Mackinaw if you can hit it on a not so crowded day. I do value my time in San Diego. I think being from Midwest I never get tired of the mountains or ocean but sure miss the Great Lakes!
