What lures me back to the ocean?  There is something about the sea air, the ocean, hooking a fish on the line, taking a nap to the beat of the swells, or maybe it is just spending time with my fella as he does what he loves.  So many reasons!  Yet again I am thankful for a trip on the Condor with my fella in the wheelhouse……

Maybe it’s the amazing sunrise I got to see…

or the fact I got 7 yellow fin tuna and 2 got away! Time to practice my casting!

Maybe it’s the way he cares…………..about fishing, his crew, everyone on that boat…I get it.  I get why he says he never gets bored when he pulls into beautiful San Diego.  How he enjoys teaching what he is very good at.

or the way he cares about me…and enjoying one another’s company….

yet again we enjoyed a trip together and for this I feel blessed….and yet again to arrive in with the view of San Diego.  Really blessed!

There are numerous reasons I love the ocean.  Each one puts a smile on my face…

there are so many more reasons…..

Yet again my pink boots or motion sickness patch did not fail me and I get it.  I am beyond thankful for the many blessings we have and for our mutual love of the ocean.

Too many people overvalue what they are not and undervalue what they are.  Don’t be one of them.  Take a breath of fresh air.  The past is behind you.  Focus on what you can do today, not on what you could’ve or should’ve done yesterday.  Remember, for everything you’ve lost, you’ve gained something else.  Appreciate what you have and who you are today.  Life does not have to be perfect to be wonderful.  Count your blessings, not your troubles.  Your thoughts are yours to control, so make good use of them to give your actions and your life a powerful advantage.
