Ready to create the easiest art journal watercolor page? I’m showing you how to paint some pink peonies (and the best part – you only need three supplies to make this!) This is great for those just starting with art journaling or even if you’ve never picked up a paintbrush.

Start by taping off the edges of your art journal page with painter’s tape. Wet your watercolor set with a water mister.

I’m using a round brush and pink watercolor paint to create some peonies. Start at the center and work your way out – painting little curves in a circular pattern. Take some black and yellow watercolor paint and add some dots to create the flower center. I’ll continue to paint my flowers in different shades of pink and red. Dry with a heat tool.

Next, I’ll take a small liner brush and some black watercolor paint and add some leaves, stems, and vines around my flowers. I’m going to use them to fill in some of that white space. Dry with a heat tool and remove your painter’s tape.
