I am sure we all remember where we were 5 years ago today.  9/11 changed everyone’s lives and changed the way we view the world.  It is hard to remember that day and how numb we felt.  I actually wish that the news media would not re-dig everything up.  This morning the Today show basically re-aired the telecast from five years ago.  I keep thinking that those poor families and kids have to re-watch the murder of their family members all over again.  It is a fine line between remembering & memorializing and just re-playing everything.  I could do without them replaying the phone calls and low down of how it went down.

I do want to thank my friend, Victoria for forwarding this one to me:911_1

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone;
For part of use went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us with many memories, your love is still our guide;
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.

The family chain was broken and nothing seems the same; But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.

Press on, solve each problem as it comes, stick to your goals no
matter what happens and press on toward the future.  No matter how
difficult it may seem, you have the power, the ability and the
strength to make things better.  With that strength you can shout to
the world that I am not broken!

Thanks Victoria for forwarding that!
