Last weekend was a soccer and basketball mom weekend. We had four games and it was great. Joey is trying out Arena Soccer and I have to say I like it. Fast paced and the field is not so big so you can catch the action. My goalie was back in action for the first half….
and loved to see him score (he even managed to put himself into the net)
Best part of that goal was the look……….’Mom did you get that!”. They won 14-5
Micky had three travel basketball games………they lost two and won one.
Life of a sport’s mom never seems to get old (ok by that Sunday night game at 7 pm I was a little done with it) but these days are fleeting. Right now I feel like my wardrobe revolves around team sweatshirts and I would have it no other way!
Because to never struggle would be to never grow. You must let go of who you were so you can become who you are. It is within the depths of the strongest and darkest storms that you discover within you an inextinguishable light, and it is this light that illuminates the right path forward.
