It was a nice weekend filled with an exciting end to basketball season for one and a great start of soccer season for another…….that alone makes it a great weekend. The weather was awesome and it was just relaxing….I woke up early Saturday morning, grabbed a hot cup of tea, Skyped with some awesome creative buddies and just drew, painted, and was inspired by it all. It was a great morning and Micky even joined me.
I was inspired to continue to experiment with flowers (no worries for those asking, my beverage art is alive and well!) and created this page in my 9 X 12 art journal:
Sharing some of my creative process………

What an aboslute perfect thing to do on a relaxing weekend. Capped off Saturday with a pre-summer BBQ with friends. I swear we all have cabin-fever (is that even possible in San Diego) and cannot wait for summer! Spring is upon us…the clocks have been sprung forward and all we need are those kids out of school to kick off those summer weekends. Motions and plans are set to get this place summer ready and BBQ fun is right around the corner.
In the meantime I am going to create to my heart's content because that is what fills me oh so much! Hope this inspires you to create from within!
"The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own. No apologies or excuses, no one to lean on, rely on, or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journal – and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins." ~Bob Moawad
